Join Me for Balance Awareness Week

September 12th, 2018 | Comments Off on Join Me for Balance Awareness Week | Blog

Have you heard? I’m teaming up with the Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) for their annual Balance Awareness Week fundraiser! This year, I’m offering you the amazing opportunity to get involved and get the chance to win some incredible prizes!

I’ve dedicated my life’s work to helping people with vestibular dysfunctions and vertigo (a sensation of constant spinning or moving) find relief through my clinical practice and by volunteering at the VeDA nonprofit organization. Most of my patients can improve their symptoms and be treated with just a few therapy sessions.

My goal and passion is to bring awareness and resources about vestibular disorders to the world so patients with vestibular disorders can be properly diagnosed and effectively treated and begin their journey back to balance.

Here’s how it works:

  • Click here to give a donation to the VeDA foundation.
  • Share our fundraiser page with your friends to help us raise awareness.

Each donation enters you into a drawing to win one of these prizes:

VIP Prize:

  • A 1-on-1 session or phone consultation with me and a “Get Balanced” goodie bag with some of my favorite therapy tools

More Prizes:

  • $75 Target gift card
  • $50 Amazon gift card
  • $25 Bed Bath & Beyond gift card
  • $25 Starbucks gift card

Winners will be randomly selected, and we’ll announce them on Sunday, September 23 at 7:30pm CT on the Balance Awareness Week Fundraiser Facebook Event Page.

ABOUT VeDA

VeDA is a nationwide nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness, increasing education, improving diagnosis and treatments, and actively advocating for patients with dizziness and balance disorders.

Vestibular dysfunctions affect 1 in 3 Americans (33 million adults, 1 in every 20 children, and 50% of the elderly population). Common symptoms include dizziness (or vertigo) and imbalance, which can lead to falls and an inability to work, drive, or live alone. Because these disorders are “invisible” and still extremely understudied, those who experience them are often misdiagnosed and lack proper treatment, leaving them forced to continue living with these debilitating ailments.

Your donations will help us create a world where vestibular patients can get the proper, specialized treatments that they need to change their reality!

Balance Awareness Week Fundraiser

September 11th, 2018 | Comments Off on Balance Awareness Week Fundraiser | Blog

This year for the Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA) annual fundraiser, I’m hosting an awareness campaign that anyone can participate in by donating and spreading the word so together we can #DefeatDizziness

Vestibular disorders affect 1 in 3 Americans, but because symptoms like dizziness, disorientation, and cognitive decline are “invisible,” they’re often misdiagnosed or not taken seriously. As a result, patients are left helpless and many suffer from depression, anxiety, and social isolation while being forced to continue living with these debilitating ailments.

With your help, we can create a world where Vestibular Disorders are widely understood, properly diagnosed, and effectively treated.

Please consider donating – every dollar makes a difference!
